Team Profile: Brian Leander |
Brian Leader currently serves as a Senior Planning Consultant for IOL, and is working on the IOL Development Team for 2008.
He holds a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Graduate Certificate in Servant Leadership from Gonzaga University. As an undergraduate at Dowling College Brian served as the first African American elected to the Executive Board of the Student Government Association and was profiled by Melba Tolliver, one of the first African-American women reporters on network news. Brian is a dynamic speaker and an expert teacher and facilitator.
Brian is also the founder and President of Diversity and Emerging Markets Strategies (DEMS), a management consulting firm that enhances organizational human resources and marketing strategies by providing training, coaching and organizational development while focusing on diversity and leadership.
It is great to have Brian on the IOL Team, and his fifteen years of proven leadership in project and operations management, process optimization, new business development, key account management, team building, and performance optimization have been a value to IOL and its clients. He has facilitated teaching and training to groups ranging for 10 to 2500 in the US and abroad and has a rich background working with Christian and non-profit organizations.

Another Award-Winning Presentation |

Dr. Jim Chambers honored with Gold Medal at 2008 COMMON Annual Meeting and Exposition.
A Gold Medal Speaker's Award was awarded to Dr. Chambers and several other members at this year's COMMON conference held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. He received the award for his presentation of Transformational Leadership and IT Professionals, which offers an innovative look at how to lead and manage knowledge workers.
He was also one of several Speaker's of Merit, and is a member of the Speaker Excellence Hall of Fame. Anne Lucas, Chairman for the Leadership and Advocacy Team for COMMON presented the awards at the opening session.
This is the second year Dr. Chambers has served as Chairman for Leadership and Professional Development for COMMON, and he offered three sessions at the event:

- Coming to Grips with Your Emotional Intelligence
- Professional Leadership Development and IT Professionals
